The Aroostook Agency on Aging kicked-off the Coats for Seniors program on November 1st at the Stephen M. Farnham Gathering Place on Davis Street in Presque Isle.

The agency will be collecting and distributing adult winter coats for Aroostook older adults throughout November. Giving and receiving is easy; drop a clean, gently used coat off or pick one up from the coat rack near the front door of the building.

In support of this program, LL Bean generously donates $5 per coat to support older adults who need fuel assistance. Coats for Seniors is a state-wide program organized by the Maine Association of Agencies on Aging.
