Most sports fans have come to accept two things on Thanksgiving day, you'll eat enough to feel uncomfortable and the NFL gives us enough games to get through the day.Today Sports Radio 92.9 will bring you a triple-header of football starting at 12 noon when the Detroit Lions kick off the day against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Some of the story lines include the Lions who have won back-to-back games after a slow start to the season trying to keep the Eagles who have lost 3 of their last 4 down.

The middle game will see Tony Romo play his first game in Dallas since returning from a broken collarbone when they host the undefeated Carolina Panthers. Last week in his return to the field he led the Cowboys past Miami for their first win in 7 weeks.

The nightcap has former UMaine Black Bear Justin Perillo and the Green Bay Packers taking on the Chicago Bears. At halftime of this game the Packers will retire the number 4 of former quarterback Brett Favre.
