With Spring temperatures on the rise so, it seems, are gas prices in the region.

Price monitoring website Gasbuddy.com is showing that prices at Maine pumps climbed 3.1 cents in the past week to $2.36 a gallon. That compares to $2.40 a gallon for the national average, a rise of 1.1 cents since last week, but a jump of 11.1 cents per gallon in the past month.

Prices around the rest of New England also rose this last week. In New Hampshire gas prices rose 2.7 cents to $2.26. Prices at the pumps in Vermont rose 3.8 cents to $2.39.
