Friends of Bigrock to Hold Town Meeting to Help Keep Mountain Open

Supporters of Bigrock have come together to form 'The Friends of Bigrock' and are holding a town meeting in an effort to solicit ideas on how to keep Bigrock open.

On August 6th, 2013 it was announced that the Libra Foundation cut ties with Bigrock Mountain in Mars Hill, Maine. Shortly after the announcement a GoFundMe.com site was put together to raise funds to keep the mountain open.

The public is encouraged to attend and participate in a town hall meeting on Wednesday, August 14th, 2013 at 6:30pm in the main lodge at Bigrock Mountain.

'The Friends of Bigrock' have set out to reach a goal of $150,000 by mid-September, which will allow them to re-open Bigrock this winter.
