This dinner will be served on Sunday, November 20, 2016, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Aroostook Shrine Club, located at 390 Houlton Road in Presque Isle.

On the menu for this annual event is a traditional Thanksgiving meal of roast turkey, country-style ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, mixed vegetables, rolls, and a variety of home-baked pies for all attending this event.  For those military Veterans unable to leave their homes, Crown Ambulance Service will be packing the Thanksgiving meals to go and delivering the meals to area shut-in Veterans.  To request a delivered meal, Veterans are urged to call Ron Mullen at 595-1085.

Members of the Presque Isle Elks, Lodge #1954, will provide transportation for any Veteran unable to transport themselves.  Rides can be reserved by calling the Presque Isle Elks Lodge at 764-0985.

Veterans will be treated to live musical entertainment that the Presque Isle Elks have arranged for this Thanksgiving-style meal.

Crown Ambulance has volunteered to pack and deliver the meals to “shut-ins” and the Presque Isle Fire Department has agreed to help in whatever way they can during the event.
