Kevin Arnold and his nerdy best friend Paul Pfeiffer were a heart-wrenchingly adorable pair on ABC's The Wonder Years from 1988-1993, braving the peaks and valleys of their late 1960s/early 1970s-era adolescence onscreen. So it's nice to see that the actors who portrayed them, Fred Savage and Josh Saviano, are still friends in real life over two decades later: The two attended a New York Rangers game at Madison Square Garden on Sunday night (November 7).

"You know it's a good night at a NY Rangers game when Fred Savage and I end up in the net," Saviano wrote in an Instagram caption with a photo from the rink.

After The Wonder Years, Saviano stepped away from Hollywood, becoming a corporate attorney for New York-based firm Morrison Cohen. But in 2014 he briefly returned to acting — playing a lawyer, aptly enough — with a recurring role as Don Taft on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

Savage, meanwhile, has worked as an actor, director and producer, directing 19 episodes of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, as well as episodes of Party Down, Happy Endings, Modern Family and Two Broke Girls. He also co-starred on Fox's The Grinder for one season in 2015-2016.
