Former Black Bear Shore Gets NHL Promotion [VIDEO]

After nine games in the AHL this season, former UMaine Black Bear Devin Shore is getting his NHL call-up with the Dallas Stars.

Shore left UM after last season, giving up his senior year to turn pro. He was a 2nd round draft pick of the Stars.

In nine games for the Texas Stars (Dallas top minor league team) Shore has 8 goals and 3 assists. He was named AHL Player of the Week in mid-October.

The Dallas Stars are off to a hot 9-2 start.They play in Toronto Monday night and in Boston against the Bruins Tuesday night.
