The storm will be the first winter storm of the season and meteorologists say it will bring snow, sleet and freezing rain, beginning late Wednesday night and continue into Thursday.

Though Northern Maine is only expected to get one to three inches of snow, the mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain will lead to very slippery roads.

Nor’easter storm is also expected to bring winds high 20 to 30 mph this evening, with gusts to 45 or 50. This could bring down some tree limbs, and lead to scattered power outages. If you see a power line down, report it to the electric utility nearest you.
