State Police say a farm tractor making a turn off Route 1 in Westfield Wednesday morning brought down a utility pole and power lines into the road.

Maine State Police

Trooper Nick Casavant responded to the crash around 9:30 a.m. His investigation revealed that 62-year-old Randy Curry of Dyer Brook was attempting to make a left turn onto the Burleigh Road when the tractor struck some utility lines. The force snapped the utility pole at the base and pulled the pole as well as the wires across the road.

Police say there were no injuries reported. Crews from Emera Maine and Fairpoint responded to the scene to replace the pole and fix the wires.

The 2004 New Holland tractor is owned by Smith's Farm of Westfield.
