Facebook is changing! Facebook is changing!  Well, sort of.  CNN is reporting that the company is testing a new design for the Timeline, you know the design that everyone hated in the first place.  The new design places all posts in a single column for a small percentage of users, as opposed to the current two-column layout.  Hmm, seems a lot like it was BEFORE they changed to the Timeline.

Facebook – you either love it or hate it.  It is, in one form or another, here to stay.  It’s more than just a trend, it’s necessary.  Social media continues to expand while simultaneously shrinking the world.  By that I mean we’re more connected to people all over the world than we ever were.

Social media is also playing a pivotal role in this election process.  If you thought the political T.V. ads were torture, how about all of the “Click like to support my candidate” ads.  It would seem that Facebook is becoming a depot for political ads because, let’s “face” it, that’s where everybody is. While it is legitimate discourse, is it really “social?”

Oh and be sure to leave a comment on facebook.
