Extreme Cold Temperatures to Affect Northern Maine & Western New Brunswick for January 5 & 6
Get ready, some bitterly cold temperatures are on their way to Northern Maine and Western New Brunswick.
The National Weather Service in Caribou and Environment Canada have both issued weather warnings about the extreme cold temperatures that will affect the area on Monday evening in to Tuesday with temperatures plunging to -25.
There is a Wind Chill Advisory in effect from 7 p.m. Monday to 7 p.m. Tuesday. Wind Chill values are expected to be between -35 and -50.
Temperatures that cold could cause frostbite as well as hypothermia, so please dress accordingly.
