Edmundston Man Arrested For Trafficking Meth

A 30-year-old man faces charges of trafficking in methamphetamine and marijuana after a drug bust in Edmundston. 

Members of the Edmundston Police Force executed a search warrant Friday at a home on Saint-Francois Street and seized methamphetamine and marijuana. This is the second such search in a week in the city, according to a press release on Monday.

Police also recovered some of the sound equipment that had been stolen from Place des Artisans in Edmundston on June 8, 2016.

Thirty-year-old Mario Martin-Theriault will appear before a Provincial Court judge in Edmundston Monday afternoon to answer charges of breach of conditions of probation and possession of methamphetamine and marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.
