Easton Girls Top Ashland is HS Basketball Opener
At Ashland High School Friday evening, the Easton girls' basketball team topped the Hornets 32-24 in the season opener for both teams.

Elise Allen led all scorers with 15 points for the Bears and was named the Player of the Game. Sarah Gilman and Cecilia Morin each had 6 points for Easton.
Hannah Stratton was top scorer for Ashland, with Morgan Doughty adding 6.
The game was featured on 101-9 the Rock with Bill Cassavant and Ryan Guerrette. Player of the Game is a service of Cushman & Sons.
