Eagle Lake Sled Dog Races A Go for this Weekend

Are you ready for some exciting dog sled racing action in the St. John Valley?

Well, get ready! The 2015 Irving Woodlands 100 and Mad Bomber 30 is a go and it's happening this weekend!

Dog sled teams from all across the country will be in Aroostook County this Saturday and Sunday to partake in the dog sled races in Eagle Lake.

This race is designed to be an early season mid-distance race for novice to gain the experience of checkpoints and yet still competitive for the experienced musher.

There is a $5,000 purse for the 100 with a $150 entry fee and $2,500 for the 30 with $100 entry fee.
