Snowmobiling has always been a big part of my life, growing up here in the County. I just love it, but I do have one thing that really annoys me about the sport. Curious as to what that is?

The answer is simple. I can't stand it when people don't use hand signals while out on the trails. I'm not necessarily talking about all hand signals, just the big one... at least in my book. It's just common courtesy to give the sign if you are the last sled in line, letting oncoming sledders know that you are indeed the last sled in your group of riders.

My husband and I were out on the trails of Aroostook County last weekend, and I found that it is a pretty mixed bag when it comes to other sledders actually using the hand signals; some do, some don't.
