Two people from Danforth are among those who are facing drug charges after being arrested in the Penobscot County town of Dedham on Monday.

According to Maine State Police, Trooper Jacob Ferland and Trooper Bryan Creamer responded to a loud noise complaint in Dedham at around 12:30 a.m. on Monday. Upon arrival, the homeowner, 57-year-old Thomas White was found to be on bail.

A subsequent search of the house resulted in locating ¾ of a pound of bath salts. The street value of these bath salts was determined to be $68,000 dollars. Other drugs were located in the house and had been packaged for sale along with hypodermic needles.

White was arrested for Class B Trafficking in Schedule W Drugs. Also arrested were 49-year-old Tami Hayes of Danforth and 45-year-old Byron Shedd of Bangor for Class C Unlawful Possession of Schedule W Drugs. 28-year-old Adam Hayes of Danforth was also arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant.
