Two early morning fires kept crews busy Tuesday in the frigid temperatures. One was a private residence while the other was a former bed and breakfast. Both are considered a total loss.

WABI-TV reports fire gutted the former bed and breakfast on the Station Road in Sherman. When fire crews arrived, the building was fully engulfed. The family made it out safely but the building is a total loss. A fund is already in place to collect donations for the Mom, Dad, and two daughters. Investigators told TV-5 they are unable to determine the cause of a fire on the Tannery Loop Road in Amherst because the damage is too extensive. Crews not only battled the extreme cold but they also worked to prevent nearby woods from catching on fire. No one was home at the time.
