Connecticut Man Facing OUI Charges After Being Arrested in Aroostook County
A Connecticut man is facing charges of operating under the influence after being arrested yesterday afternoon in Aroostook County.
State Police received a complaint of erratic driving on Route 161 near Madawaska Lake at around 2:30 p.m. yesterday afternoon.
A short while later, Deputy Vance Palmer with the Aroostook County Sheriff’s Department, stopped the vehicle, which was an older model Mercedes, on Route 162 in Sinclair.
After a brief roadside investigation the operator of the vehicle, 45-year-old Peter Szczerba of New Britain, CT, was taken into custody for OUI and transported to the Caribou Police Department.
The investigation continues.
