Presque Isle police say 40-year-old Christopher Armstrong of Presque Isle was headed north in a 2012 Chevrolet and was slowing down to turn into Fairmount Cemetery when his car was rear-ended by an SUV.

Armstrong was transported to The Aroostook Medical Center complaining of pain. The driver of the SUV, 62-year-old Anita Dickinson of Caribou, was not injured.

Presque Isle police say speed and weather conditions were factors in the crash. It had been raining during the afternoon and the road was slick.

Presque Isle Police Department, Presque Isle Fire Department and Crown Ambulance responded to the accident. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
