As we're inundated with holiday ads earlier and earlier every year, it just means we need to start thinking about the real reason for the season earlier and earlier as well.  Operation Christmas Child kicks off next week and there are two locations where you can drop off your Shoebox Gifts.

What is a 'Shoebox Gift?'  Here's a link that will tell you all about it.  The Presque Isle Wesleyan Church, 387 Centerline Road in Presque Isle, will be collecting Shoebox Gifts beginning Monday, November 18th from 12noon to 5pm.  They'll continue accepting through Monday, November 25th.  Saturday and Sunday hours will be from 12noon to 3pm.

The Caribou United Baptist Church on High Street in Caribou is also accepting Shoebox Gifts for children around the world from Monday, November 18th through Saturday, November 23rd from 10am to 2pm.
