Closings & Cancellations for December 17

Due to the impending snow storm, many local functions are being post-poned.

Here’s a list of the latest cancellations from around our area.

The Christmas Ball, proceeds to benefit Raven Food Pantry, at UMPI for Wednesday, December 17th, is postponed. The on-line auction will continue until Monday, 12/22 at noon. Please visit Christmasballauction.com for that information.

The Presque Isle vs. Bangor & Caribou swim meet scheduled for today at Husson University has been postponed due to predicted poor traveling conditions. The meet will be made up on Tuesday, December 23 at 5:30 p.m. P.I. swimmers will travel with Caribou departing PIHS at 1:20 p.m.

The Houlton Recreation Department has cancelled the playground meeting scheduled for tonight at 6 p.m. and rescheduled for Tuesday, January 13th.
