The Boston Celtics time in first place turned out to be two days. That's because the Milwaukee Bucks came into the Garden last night threw the C's a 103-100 knockdown punch.

It was rookie guard Malcolm Brogdon who did in the Celtics down the stretch. He finished with 16 points and nine assists. He had the game winning basket as the shot clock expired in the final seconds of the game.

Isaiah Thomas had 32 points, including his 2,000th point of the season. Only five other Celtics players have done that. He also extended his franchise record for three-pointers in a game. Thomas has at least one in 50 straight games.

The loss drops Boston to 48-27, percentage points behind Cleveland for the lead in the East.

Seven games left in the regular season.
