The Maine Warden Service says 74-year-old Paul Oliver of Caswell had moved his truck across the flooded Oliver Road Tuesday evening and was attempting to walk back across the dirt road to his home.

The road was completely covered by water and Oliver stepped into the opening of a large culvert and was swept downstream, according to Warden Cpl. John MacDonald.  Oliver was reported missing at 9:20 p.m. Tuesday.

Wardens, with the help of the Limestone Fire Department recovered the body just after 5:30 Wednesday morning, about 20 yards downstream.
