CAA Names Ricard Defensive Player of the Week

The Colonial Athletic Association has named University of Maine defensive lineman Patrick Ricard the Defensive Player of the Week after he helped the Bears beat Albany Saturday.Ricard had 5 tackles on the day including 4.5 for a loss and a career high 2.5 sacks as the Bears beat the Great Danes 39-7.

Albany managed just 172 yards of total offense against Ricard and the "Black Hole" defense.

This week UMaine returns to Alfond Stadium for a homecoming game against the Yale Bulldogs.
