B’s Win At Home, C’s Lose On Road [VIDEO]
Boston Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask is in one of those zones. He stopped all 34 Pittsburgh shots as the B's shutout the Penquins 3-0 at Boston Garden.
Max Talbot scored a first period goal. Jimmy Hayes scored a second period goal. Ryan Spooner scored an empty-netter at the end.
Rask gets his 30th shutout of his career. In his last 9 games, Rask is 7-0-2 with a 1.36 GAA.
The Bruins are 17-9-3.
NOTE: Biddeford native Brian Dumoulin, a Penquins defenseman, logged more icetime than any other Pittburgh player. Dumoulin was on the ice for 23-minutes 11-seconds.
Meanwhile, the news from the Boston Celtics is not so good. The C's lost in Detroit 119-116, ending a 10-game streak of winning the second game on the road of back-to-back games.
The Pistons double-double machine, Andre Drummond, had 16 points and 12 rebounds. But Kentavious Caldwell-Pope killed the the C's scoring 31 points.
The Celts were led by Isaiah Thomas with 38 points.
The C's are 14-12 and have lost three in a row.
