The Boston Bruins are in a big time struggle at the wrong time of the year. Last night's 5-2 to the New York Rangers was the fourth straight loss and in those four losses the B's have scored a total of five goals.

Everything went wrong for the Bruins at Madison Square Garden. The Rangers scored first. The B's had a game-tying goal disallowed because the play was off-sides. The Rangers had the first five powerplays and scored on two of them. NY's Henrik Lundqvist outplayed the Bruins goalies.

You get the picture.

Lee Stempniak and Frank Vatrano scored the two B's goals.

The Bruins are now 39-27-8 and have dropped to third place in the division.

They've got the Florida Panthers, the team just ahead of them in the standings, tonight at Boston Garden.
