14 members of the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots were at Boston Garden Saturday afternoon and they saw the Bruins beat the Vancouver Canucks 4-3. The B's are now 2-0 under new coach Bruce Cassidy.

After running back James White dropped the ceremonial first puck, the B's played a tight game with the Canucks all afternoon. Neither team had more than a one goal lead.

Kevan Miller, Frank Vatrano and Colin Miller scored the first three goals but it was David Pastrnak scoring with two minutes left in the game that turned out to be the game winner. It was his 25th goal of the season.
