As the Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs get ready to play game two of the NHL Stanley Cup Playoff series tonight, the NHL has handed down a three game suspension to Leafs forward Nazem Kadri for that hit on Bruins winger Tommy Wingels in game one.

Kadri is out for tonight's game and then both game three and four in Toronto. He is 4th in points for the Maple Leafs with 32 goals and 23 assists.

Kadri was given a major penalty and game misconduct for his late hit on Wingels. The league ruled Kadri had time to 'avoid or minimize the hit' but chose not to. Plus, the fact that Kadri has been suspended three other times in his career was taken into account.

Check out the play...and the NHL ruling...
