Running Back LeGarrette Blount was officially placed on the injured reserve list Wednesday, the 14th New England Patriot to land on that list this season.

The question around Gillette Stadium was what's next. While the team has signed Montee Ball to the practice squad and reports indicate they are in discussions with Steven Jackson, the answer to the question is Brandon Bolden. The 4th year running back told reporters yesterday that he is ready to carry the load the rest of the way.

Bolden has carried the ball 35 times for 110 yards and is still looking for his first touchdown. James White is the other option although he has been used mostly as the third down back. He does have 16 rushed for 41 yards and 2 touchdowns to go along with 28 receptions for 248 yards and 2 scores.

The Pats play the Titans at Gillette Stadium on Sunday and you can hear the game live on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket with coverage starting at 10am.
