Mookie Betts and Xander Bogaerts became the first pair of Red Sox rookies to hit home runs in the same game at Yankee Stadium since 1952. The Sox beat up on the Yanks Tuesday night 9-4.

Betts had his first three hit game. Bogaerts had his first four hit game. Daniel Nava hit a 3-run homer.

On the downside, Will Middlebrooks went 0-for-5 with 4 strikeouts.

Joe Kelly pitched the first 6 2/3 innings to pick up his first win in a Sox uniform.
