It took a 7-run 8th inning but the Boston Red Sox used that rally to beat the Oakland A's 7-4 and get their first series sweep of the season.<!--more-->The inning got jump started when Rusney Castillo launched a solo homerun to get the Sox on the board. They would take the lead on a 2-run double off the Green Monster by Xander Bogaerts with two outs.

Boston had 5 players with multiple hits including Pablo Sandoval who spent the last two games on the bench. Castillo had 2 hits and 2 rbi.

Clay Buchholz struggled for the first time in five starts and couldn't get out of the 5th inning. Steven Wright got the win in relief while Tommy Layne picked-up the save.

The Sox have Monday off before starting a series in Baltimore Tuesday.
