Maine fighter Tim Boetsch will return to the octagon for the Ultimate Fighting Championship to take on Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza at UFC 208 in February.

Boetsch (20-10) has found some success in the UFC as of late by moving down to the middleweight division where he has a two fight winning streak, besting Josh Samman and Rafael Natal by TKO.  Prior to the win streak, Boetsch had lost three in a row, including a loss to Dan Henderson who recently retired after a bout for the UFC Middleweight Championship.

Souza is a former Strikeforce Middleweight champion and has a 23-4 record overall in his career.  Last time out he bested Vitor Belfort via a first round TKO and was on an eight fight win streak before losing to Yoel Romero in the fight prior to that.

Boetsch is still training with fellow Mainer Marcus Davis in North Carolina will be fighting in New York City for the second consecutive fight.  He recently fought on the UFC 205 card at Madison Square Garden.

UFC 208 will be held on February 11th from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Southern Maine based fighter Devin Powell will also make his UFC debut this weekend at a Fight Night card.  He will take on Drakkar Klose who replaces Jordan Rinaldi who withdrew due to injury.  Klose is undefeated in his MMA career and will also be debuting in the UFC.
