Veteran Mixed Martial Artist Tim Boetsch beat Josh Samman via TKO in the second round in the middleweight clash on Wednesday night.

Boetsch came into the fight as a heavy underdog and dominated the first round of the fight against rising UFC star Josh Samman.  The Maine native out-landed Samman in both rounds and finished the fight with punches and elbows to the head while he was on the ground.

Boetsch likely needed a win to continue in the UFC after having three straight losses.  Before Wednesday he last won in August of 2014 in Bangor.  In the post fight interview on Fox Sports 1, Boetsch said that he feels great and will continue to fight at middleweight.
