Bode Miller is still competing and competing hard! He went so hard at the recent super G in Colorado that he cut his leg open in a crash. It's a pretty nasty looking injury!

Miller's injury was being looked at by the US Ski Team medical staff: The Boston Globe has the full story on the cut and talked to US skier, Travis Ganong about Miller :

He said his whole body was numb. Everything hurt,’’ Ganong said. ‘‘He said he has to get 100 stitches in his calf. I hope the best for him.’’

Bode is competing at the highest level and that comes with risk. For skiers in Northern Maine who are out for some great fun, check out some places to take the whole family.
