John Huard, Lisa Blais Manning, Paula Doughty and Dwight Hunter are among the second class of inductees to the Maine Principals' Association Hall of Excellence.

In total, 10 administrators, coaches, officials and athletes will be honored at a ceremony at the Augusta Civic Center on May 21st.

 

 

 

 

Peter Brown, Administrator: 38 year coach and athletic administrator including stints at Woodstook High School and Jay High School.

Norm Davis, Official: Longtime umpire in the Lewiston-Auburn area. Member of the ASA Hall of Fame.

Paula Doughty, Coach: Longtime teacher/coach at Skowhegan High School. Her field hockey teams have won 15 state titles.

Richard Getchell, MPA Assist Exec Dir: Former Westbrook High School principal and assistant executive director of the MPA.

John Huard, Athlete: Former standout athlete at Waterville High School, UMaine football and former NFL player.

Dwight Hunter, Athletic Administrator: 36-years as an administrator for Caribou High School.

Lisa Blais Manning, Athlete: A standout basketball player from Westbrook High School and member of national championship team at Old Dominion University.

Anita Murphy, Coach: 37-year coach of tennis at Lewiston High School. Her teams have won 12 state titles.

Robert Stevens, Administrator: 37-year principal at York High School and has served on many MPA committees.

Keith Weatherbie, Athletic Administrator: Longtime teacher/ coach and 20-year athletic administrator.
