After an early season bye week, the UMaine Black Bears get ready to head to New Orleans this week for their second FBS game. This one against the Tulane Green Wave.

It's another pay check game - the school receives $325,000 to play this step-up game. Tulane is a member of the American Athletics Conference(AAC) that includes schools such as Cincinnati, UConn, Temple, UCF, among others.

The Green Wave are 0-2 after losses to Duke (37-7) and Georgia Tech (65-10).

Maine's loss is to FBS Boston College 24-3.
