Homecourt did not provide an advantage for the UMaine men's basketball Wednesday night as they dropped a 79-69 game to Dartmouth for their 6th loss of the season.

The Big Green grabbed an early lead and led nearly wire-to-wire except for a brief moment whe the Bears were able to take a two point lead midway through the first half.

Ryan Bernstein led Maine in the loss with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists while Lavar Harewood added 12 off the bench for the 2-6 Bears. Devine Eke and Kevin Little were the other Maine players in double digit scoring with 10 points each.

Evan Boudreau was the player form Dartmouth the Bears had no answer for as he posted a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds.

The Black Bears go back on the road for their next three games starting Sunday at Boston College.
