The Boston Bruins begin a home-and-home series with the Pittsburgh Penquins beginning tonight and it will be a chance for B's fans to see Biddeford defenseman Brian Dumoulin.

The 24-year-old Mainer has worked his way into a top-4 blueliner spot in Pittsburgh. Dumoulin has played in all 29 games and has the 4th most ice time among Pens defensemen.

He has seven assists which puts him third on the team in points for defensemen.

The Pittsburgh team itself has struggled, currently 11th in the Eastern Conference with a 15-11-3 record. The slow start cost coach joe blow is job, he was fired over the weekend. Mike Sullivan, who was the AHL affliate team coach has taken over behind the bench.

Dumoulin played one year for Biddeford High School before going to Junior Hockey. He then spent two years at Boston College before turning pro.

NOTE: Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket has live coverage of the B's vs Pens game tonight following high school basketball PBP.
