The UConn Huskies got goals from five different players and beat the UMaine Black Bears Thursday night 6-3.

Rob Michel got Maine on the scoreboard first but the Huskies scored the next two and led 2-1 after the first period.

The Black Bears fought back twice to tie the game at 2-2 and 3-3 but could never get the lead.

UConn scored the game winner on a poweplay goal in the final seconds of the second period.

Maine's Matt Morris made 32 saves in the loss. UConn goalie Adam Huska made 23.

The Black Bears fall to 1-7-1 in Hockey East, 7-11-3 overall.

UConn is 5-3-2 and 9-7-6.

The two teams meet Saturday afternoon at 1:30pm at Fenway Park.
