According to the New Brunswick RCMP, a 30-year old man will serve 30 months for pleading guilty to a charge of conspiracy to traffic cocaine.

During an investigation, two kilos of cocaine were seized, along with accessories related to drug trafficking which caused the arrest of 30-year old Remi Gionet of Bathurst.

Gionet pleaded guilty to a charge of trafficking cocaine on September 12, 2016. On Tuesday, May 23, 2017, Gionet was sentenced to 30 months in jail for the crime.
