You can't say the Bangor Police Department doesn't have fun. After an officer showed a video to his co-workers of him singing with his daughter, it turned into an all out karaoke competition on the station's Facebook page.

Officer Aaron Brooker took a video of him singing with his daughter on a road trip. Once that got around, other officers thought they could do better at singing 'Your Love' by the Outfield.

Now both videos are online and the Bangor Police Department is asking of people to vote on their favorite on their Facebook page.

Here are the two performances plus the original for you to compare with and cast your vote.

It started as a father and daughter trip into the north Maine woods. Officer Aaron Brooker and the lovely and vocally gifted, Hannah Brooker played Northwoods Karaoke.

After much positive attention was showered upon the good officer and daughter, a couple of Bangor Patrol Officers answered back in an epic and poorly done rendition of the Outfield's "Your Love"

It feels like 1984 all over again. Since I only can share one video at a time, I will share the Brooker's video tonight. The most likes will win bragging rights at the department.

The video made by Officer Tyler Rusby and Officer Shannon Davis will be shared tomorrow.

The question remains; if the Brookers sing in the forest and there is no one else there to hear, should it be outlawed?

Keep your hands to yourself, leave other people's things alone and be kind to one another.

We will be here.

The most "likes" win.

I'm sorry
Signed
