ORONO, Maine (AP) — The state medical examiner's office said alcohol, cocaine and cold temperatures caused the death of a teenager found in a snowbank in Orono, Maine.

The body of 19-year-old Alexie Adams, of Orono, was found by a passer-by on Feb. 3.

WMTW-TV reported the state medical examiner's office concluded that the death was caused by acute intoxication with hypothermia as a contributing factor.

The death has been ruled accidental.

Police say Adams had been with friends that night but became separated from them. State and local police are investigating.
