Join me as the host of the Morning Buzz with Randy McCoy, weekday mornings from 5am to 9am. I also can be heard on Sundays from 10-noon. Make sure you come by to meet me at many of our live local broadcasts.
Every year, I tell myself 'this will be the year I make Elf on the Shelf work' and promise to do something creative everyday. I'm usually pretty successful the first week...and then it gets away from me. I forget a day or two or a week and then the magic just goes away. I tell myself 'hey, I tried'...but I usually feel like I let the kids down.
It's almost inevitable. If you have a dog, chances are high that Fido will try to get some scraps on turkey day! Some food is OK for our canine friends, but some can be potentially fatal. So, here's a list of things that are OK or are harmful to animals...
Tis the season...Fa la la bla bla bla. There's no hiding from it! People are already putting up their Christmas decorations...even though we haven't even celebrated Thanksgiving yet! But, I'm feeling a little more festive than usual and want to start decorating too. But I want to change things up a bit...
Somethings just leave you with tears running down you leg. I stumbled across this instructional video on YouTube. You never know if or when you might have to whack a guy is his boys. DISCLAIMER: Use this for self-defense only, ladies. It's not funny to hit a man in his goose berries for no reason.
Tis' the season for the dreaded three letter word...the F-L-U!! The horror. It's already popping up in Maine...earlier than usual. People are posting, like crazy, all over Facebook. I wonder, can you cyber catch the flu? You watch...it'll be a thing one day.
Stories like this are just too much to bear. No child should have to go through things like this. His focus should be playing sports, what costume to wear when he goes trick or treating and playing video games. All the usual 7 year old 'kid' things. But that's not life for Brock Chadwick, from Biddeford Maine.
For years, I have passed out candy in a local Augusta neighborhood. I've also taken my kids trick-or-treating around the same neighborhood. One thing that has always raised concern for me is the amount of older kids who are trick-or-treating. It's always made me wonder, how old is too old to trick-or-treat? So here are my thoughts on the subject.
The million dollar question is...what can we expect for Winter this upcoming season? We all wish we could look through a looking glass and see the truth, unfortunately, that is not the case. But the almanac is the closest we're going to get. But which do we believe: Old Farmer's or Farmers?
