Ask O’Brien – ‘What Do You Want for Father’s Day?’

I don’t know if today’s question came from my wife or my kids and they just didn’t put their name on it or if someone is trying to decide what to get the father in their life and they need ideas.  Either way, I’ll give it a shot. 

I’m kind of passed the gift thing.  I don’t ever expect anyone to get me a gift, even for my birthday.  My kids usually make me a card or maybe some sort of dessert, but buying me something is not a necessity.  I really have everything I need anyway.  I told you I was laid back.

There is ONE thing I would like for Father’s Day, and I hope my kids are reading this.  I would like them to pamper their mother.  I would like them to help with laundry, dishes, cleaning the house (and keeping it clean) and so on.  That way every day will be a happy Father’s Day, and Mother’s Day.
