Aroostook County Snowfall Totals From Mid-March Storm

A powerful storm surprised some parts of Aroostook County with up to a foot-and- half of snow Sunday, breaking records for the day.  Here are unofficial snowfall totals around the area, as compiled by the National Weather Service in Caribou:

Snowfall total for the season is at 124" at the Caribou weather office, which is about 31 inches above normal, and just a couple inches more than last year's total at the time.
