Aroostook County Grand Jury Indictments – June 2016

A Presque Isle woman charged with arson was among 24 people indicted by the Aroostook County Grand Jury this month as it finished its sixth session of 2016.

The State Fire Marshal's Office charged 27-year-old Lacey Wardwell in connection with a fire in February that damaged a home on the Fort Fairfield Road in Presque Isle. Four men were also indicted in an arson case in Madawaska, according to information from District Attorney Todd R. Collins.

Two people were indicted this month for gross sexual assault. Several other cases involved aggravated assault, theft and drug trafficking.
