If you're looking for some wonderful opportunities that consist of securing employment with good companies, free training, and valuable credentials, then you'll not want to miss ACAP's recently received grant.

According to ACAP, the goal is two-fold.

1. Prepare women for immediate employment

2. Facilitate partnerships with local businesses to create apprenticeship opportunities

So, what does this all mean?

By participating in the grant, women can earn a no-cost WorkReady credential recognized by employers across Maine.

This national program will set them apart as a candidate ready for a career. This isn't just another job fair, but this is an opportunity for women to train for a career.

If you would like more information about the opportunity, or if you're a business and want more information as well, please contact Erin Benson at 554-4165 or email her at ebenson@acap-me.org.
