There will be no NCAA playoff game for the UMaine field hockey team. Despite 19 wins and a runner-up America East spot, the Black Bears were not selected for the field of 16.

Maine lost 2-0 yesterday to UAlbany and finish with a 19-4 record.

Interestingly enough, Stanford (13-6) is in the NCAA field. The Black Bears beat the Cardinal Saturday in the AE semi-final.
