LITCHFIELD, Maine (AP) — Three teenagers are accused of trying to drug one of the boys' mothers before strangling and fatally stabbing her in her Maine home.

Juvenile petitions containing chilling details of the killing of 47-year-old Kimberly Mironovas were released on Monday as the three teens — including the woman's 15-year-old son — appeared in court.

The documents did not provide a motive for the killing. The body was found early Sunday.

Documents indicate Mironovas' son and a teen from Ashland, Massachusetts, have been charged with murder. The third, also from Ashland, MA has been charged with conspiracy.

A lawyer for her son didn't immediately return a message seeking comment.

A lawyer for the teen charged with conspiracy says his client "was in a house where someone died and he's completely distraught."
