When verifying the draw results, applicants require their Outdoors Card number. The department says it will not be notifying successful applicants by mail in the event of a Canada Post strike, which could begin Wednesday.

There were more than 61,000 applications for 4,643 moose licences available for this year’s provincial hunt, which runs from Sept. 20 to Sept. 24.
